Connecticut in the Snow

A few weeks ago, I was driving to work at the studio from my home near Candlewood Lake in Brookfield, Connecticut. On my drive, I always pass an area with the most broad, open view of the lake. In all other seasons, the view from my car is limited as vacationers’ boats line the shore. But after the first snow, the lake looks so beautiful and dreamy.

When I saw the patterns that had formed on the ice, I knew I had stop and snap a few photos.
